Does anyone know if the Yellowhammer Restaurant is still in business and if so has anyone tried it and what's the verdict if you have?

Also, what about Stillwaters food under the new ownership?

I went to StillWaters back in December. I had a steak - it was nothing special. My girlfriend had salmon, and it was excelent. The prices are reasonable. The entire meal for 2 was about $35, tip included. I will probably go back.

I've never been to Yellow Hammer.

Yellowhammer is pretty good, but not for the prices they charge...two meals, tip, tax and a bottle of wine will cost well over 100$, and the quality doesn't touch Auburn/Opelika area restaurants like Warehouse Bistro or J. WIlliams at the same prices. I don't know if they are still open, but they have been closed several times when we called for reservations. Drive a little further down 280 to hit Warehouse Bistro...hands down the best food in the area, but pricey. Where exactly is Stillwaters' restaurant in the resort? Is it convenient by water?

Went to dinner with a group of 10 in February and everyone enjoyed their meal. The prices were reasonable. The restaurant is located in the country club on the golf course and is a long hike from the water.

Thanks. That's all helpful. Anyone done the Sun. Brunch at Stillwaters?
