I know this topic has been covered ad nauseum and I have praised Com-Link but after 3 years of almost flawless service, the last 3-4 months have seen many outages and very slow response times.

It has been very bad today but I was able to get on long enough to check out Windstream to see if they have DSL service now and sure enough they do. So far it is working long enough to post this as well.

Anyone use it and how has it been?

I saw your lights on when we drove by a little while ago; y'all doing ok? Haven't seen you much this summer.

As far as Windstream, I've had it for over a year and I'm very satisfied. It has never been out when I've tried to use it, and the speed is good.

I am on Comlink, 8, and have generally been happy. You are right that last couple of months has seen a few problems, but still working fine. I did have to put in a new modem/wireless router as the other one was victim to lightning. It works great, and my daughter-in-law uploaded a ton of pictures to her blog this week with no problems.

We have been here pretty regular. Woke up this morning and the Comlink is working fine. I guess I will switch to Windstream if it happens again.

same here - lightning hit ours twice. Got the outside filter twice and the modem once. One thing about Comlink is that they have been pretty prompt in service calls. Staying with them for the time being.
