Has anyone ever been to the Sunday night seafood and prime rib buffet at Christopher's?

Is so your thoughts on such would be appreciated, as thinking of taking 12 including senior citizens, adults and young adults / teens there to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary and daughter's birthday. So would it be a good choice for such special occasions in terms of quality of food, etc?

Sure you guys are invited, heck the whole forum is invited for that matter, just make sure to bring your checkbook - LOL.

Yes Rude I agree she needs a medal of honor for the 25 Years of my BS, etc. But the medal of honor would not suffice so she instead received an Emerald and Diamnd Ring she has been trying to get out of me for the past 5+ years.

Yes I have been twice to the feast. Its well worth the money. Something for everyone. Stuffed myself on the crab legs and shrimp. Chris does it up right and the outdoor dining cant be beat. Ate there last night and the food network was filming there. It sounds like Chris may have his own show possibly in the near future. He is a great chef and your party will not be disappointed.

Mav,

First - Congrats on your 25th. I wish you many more years to come! It's also MartiniMans 25 this weekend.

2nd - I found the post below from August 13 from "Peruecreek". I haven't eaten at Christophers yet, but I look at it everyday I'm there (we're straight across the lake on the south side of the bridge). Here's his post:

[Start]
Went for Sunday Brunch last Sunday at Christopher with a large group of 13. The buffet was outstanding for what I considered a reasonable price. Service was a little slow but probably should have been expected due to the size of our party. The owner stopped by our table and was very nice and attentive to our needs. Overall a great addition to the lake dining scene although it would be nice to have better water access.

It would be about a 20 second boat ride for me. Sad huh! We used to eat there pretty frequently when it was The Cove but just havne't made it there since it's been Christophers. We plan to but we typically just cook out at our leisure when were there!

Congrats on making 25 years. We hit 29 a couple of weeks ago - only cost me a pontoon boat!

Mav, everything I hear about the place says it's great. Will find out Sunday when my wife & I celebrate her birthday (last week...no age given!), our 56th anniversary (also last week), and my 76th birthday. Wow...August was a good month awhile back.
