Bumpers must be big enough to be effective and must be kept inside the vessel when underway. Otherwise the effect of wind and water may remove their covers.

Heck I am going to have at least 8 if not 10 bumpers on my boat over the labor day weekend as with all these crazy folks out want to be 100% sure my dock is adequately protected and taken care of as do not want it broken or maimed for sure.
