I suspect it was a rumor with no legs. I cannot imagine a place like that doing well on Lake Martin in central Alabama. Maybe Lake Lanier where it can draw from the large metro Atlanta population. But not here.

I like the phrase: Those that know much say little. Those that know little say much. I ain't saying. As you said, time will tell but if they do move ahead with this project it is going to have a problem being successful long term.
