I truly get the argument about this and am very conflicted.  On the one hand, asking a 10-year old girl to carry a baby to term as a result of a rape by an illegal alien seems incredibly insensitive and potentially life threatening.  On the other hand, regardless of the source of conception, it is a baby infused with a soul by God who deserves to live and have an opportunity for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness like the rest of us.  My personal view is that cases like these need to be left to parents and the child to decide what is the best course of action.  And that is exactly what Ohio law says.......she could have gotten a legal abortion in Ohio given the circumstances but chose to go to Indiana.  Frankly, every doctor involved in this case had a legal obligation to report the rape and didn't...and for that they should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.  It is a horrific crime and the perp (who never should ahve been in the country in the first place) should spend the rest of his life in prison.

As for the snide comments about the initial reaction.....let us review.  The claim was made by a pro-abortion activist doctor who refused to provide any details or follow up.  Initially it was believed, reasonably so, that this was because it was fabricated.  But the reality is that the reason for the lack of corroboration or confirmation is that every doctor in this case committed a crime and did not want to be charged.  So they went silent.  Which fueled the speculation about it being false.....and rightly so.

So this whole episode is a case study in media bias to support a narrative, lies and crimes.  She could have gotten an abortion in Ohio given the circumstances.  The doctors that hid the rape committed a crime.  And the baby that was killed was completely innocent and suffered the consequences of the abhorrent behavior of the criminal illegal alien.  So no Goofy, the dunk you are thinking you are making was a complete swing and miss.
