When the economy collapsed, every individual suffer too much crisis, even large firms and corporation. The United States Congress therefore wants to stay afloat from the sinking economy, this is why they want to repeal Glass-Steagall Act that puts investment and commercial banking to limited services. They want to break the wall the separate the financial system to extend better services to the country.
