Have had Comlink since I bought the little cabin in 1996. So glad to learn there was cable here. When they brought on internet capability we joined on. Was great for first few years then I think got too many on line. Then it would work great. Had a period of about two years (a few years back) where the signal was way too sporadic, but no other options other than dial up. After many tech visits and many phone calls, and many splice fixes on the line around our area, one tech guy heard me say that my CNN (channel 3) was always snowy. Turns out the cnn line and some part of the internet worked off same part of cable. Older guy (non techy type) said "let me just run a real cable from the pole to your house". He used one much larger than what was there. Did that about four years ago, and the half day outage the other day was just the second or third issue since.
Agree that their internet tech support is useless. I never call them again. Call the regular number in Union Springs. I have always been able to leave a message and have gotten support on some weekends.
