So the "not Ivermectin but does exaclty what Ivermectin does" pill developed by Merck (molnupiravir) apparently costs around $17.74 per treatment to produce and is being charged to the government at a cost of $712. This is a 40x markup. What is even more ironic is that the medicine was originally developed to treat Venezuelan equine encephalitis.....equine....having to do with horses. RFLMAO! It was developed to treat a different disease than the ChiCom virus in horses, donkeys, mules and people....ya know, just exactly like Ivermectin.
You literally cannot make this crap up. Merck is now seeking EUA for the new wonder profit....er, um, I mean drug. And the cost for a full treatment with Ivermectin (also manufactured by Merck) ranges from $79 to $109. Merck has said they are ready with 10 million doses of molnupiravir once they get the EUA.
Some more interesting facts about this wonder pill. It cut the risk of hospitalization and death in half in a randomized trial of 775 adults with mild/moderate Covid who were considered at high risk for disease due to comorbidities such as obesity, diabetes and heart disease. The trial was stopped early so the company could apply for and emergency use authorization (EUA). The drug did not benefit patients who were already hospitalized with severe disease. Just exactly like Ivermectin!
So as best I can tell this new wonder drug is exactly like Ivermectin with one glaring difference....the amount of profit Merck will make from it. What is even more sad is that the cost will be out of reach for millions of Americans unlike Ivermectin, which does exactly the same thing when used properly. Glad I have mine!!!
