I was trying to figure out if there was a civil rights angle to them hiring Crump, who bills himself as a civil rights lawyer. I almost wonder if this was a set up. He tried 2 other rides and was turned away and reporrting back to his parents that they did. It almost felt like they were looking for negligence on the part of the ride operators. I'm sure they didn't expect their son to die, but were they looking for a lawsuit? If he had been turned away from all the rides, would they have sued for discrimination? I have a feeling that there is more to this than meets the eye, but then things turned tragic.
Yes, regardless of color, most parents would sue.
