Remember this about the hearings, there is no cross examination so only the most egregious errors and lies get exposed and only those willing to provide negative statements make it on the televised hearing.  In essence you are hearing the prosecution's side of the story with prosecutors that are immoral and unethical also acting as judge and jury.  Who wouldn't look bad in a show trial like this and as Stalin said, show me the man and I'll show you the crime. This is a statement made by Zoe Lofgren, who is on the committee, to Jake Tapper, "We never call in witnesses to corroborate other witnesses or to give their reaction to other witnesses,"  So believe none of what you hear and only half of what you see in these hearings.  I've read every word of Trump's speech and he is clearly not responsible for what happened.  The more I see the more I think there were a large number of provacatuers in the crowd and they relied on the herd mentality to get people to storm the Capitol.  The more we hear the more I have come to believe this.  

Like you, I don't plan to vote for Trump in the primaries but I will 100% vote for him if he is the nominee.  As we've seen over the last two years, as objectionable as Trump was personally, his policies are far superior to the Democrats and his concept of America first is far superior to the America last approach of Democrats.  But I really, really, really hope he doesn't run.  But if he does I expect him to win as the others will split the primary vote just like when he won the first nomination.  The problem is the other viable candidates understand this dynamic so I am afraid we will only get opponents that have no hope like Pence, Cotton, Pompeo, et al.  My opinion is DeSantis is the only one with a remote chance of beating Trump in the primaries.....but not if there are 27 others splitting the vote.
