Man, I hate to hear that. I certainly don't doubt what you are saying. I just wonder if the claims adjuster thing is not getting to all of them. I have heard there is a real shortage of claims adjusters in the area. I know I had a claims adjuster come all the way from Texas to look at the damage to my Lake Cabin from Hurricane Ivan.

I do not think any of us should assume that a major claim will be settled without the inspection of a qualified claims adjuster.

In the end my settlement was rather fair. I do think USAA would take care of you if it were a principle residence in a more timely manner. I expressed to them my concern for others that my claim could be settled in a secondary manner since my Lake cabin was not a primary residence. It still was done timely and fairly. That is an indication of all my dealing with our Company.
