One unoccupied building worth at Sunset Point condominiums in Stillwaters burned down Thursday afternoon.
At approximately 2:30 p.m. the Stillwaters Volunteer Fire Department came to the scene to find the building, which housed seven time-share condos, in flames.
"Right now we don't know how the fire was caused," said Stan Gilles, the assistant fire chief of Stillwaters Volunteer Fire Department and the property manager of Sunset Point. "We don't know if there is any type of arson involved. We're going to do an arson investigation tomorrow."
Pace's Point Fire and Rescue Department and Union Volunteer Fire Department were also called to the scene to help fight the fire. The fire took hours for the 25 volunteer firefighters to put out. Gilles said there were no injuries, but some of the firefighters needed assistance.
"We've had to treat them for heat, but they're all OK," Gilles said.
Gilles said the last time people occupied the building was Friday, June 20. He said they checked out at 11 a.m. and maids later cleaned the rooms. He said the seven-condo building cost more than $1 million.
The insurance company and the Fire Marshall are investigating the cause of the fire.
