Here are the government numbers from the BLS showing seasonal adjusted from March to April from Table B-1:

Government 59,000

Federal 65,000
Federal, except U.S. Postal Service 69,100
U.S. Postal Service -4,000

State government -5,000
State government education - 700
State government, excluding education -4,400

Local government -1,000
Local government education -1,400
Local government, excluding education 500

Excluding the 66,000 for the census and the number for federal is flat.
