I had a bad experience with Direct TV in Birmingham and seitched to Dish up there. I have used Com-Link for internet for years with very good service. It is right that you can always get a helpful human during normal business hours. However, in my zeal to replace Direct I called Windstream which reps for Dish in their "bundles". I ended up changing my land line deal with them which ran between $85-90 per month to a plan that includes internet access and unlimited long distance for $70. If I change to Dish here I will add it to the bundle but there really is not futher saving. I was paying $36 for the internet access.

Above does not answer your question but I looked at Com-Link and they just do not offer the HD package I have grown used to so I will stay with Direct or Dish (I still like Direct the best). However, if that is not real important to you Com-Link has given very good service and they come right out if you do have a problem.

Were you here for Thanksgiving? Seems most of the slough was. How the construction project.
